March 6: Post 273 voted to sponsor Boy Scout Troop 431 of Seminole, Florida.  We are excited to develop an ongoing relationship with this outstanding group of young men.


March 2: Tampa Bay Troop Support Packing Event at Post 273: More than 50 volunteers, including Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts, packed 160 boxes to send to our troops deployed overseas. We thank Dave & Sharon Dabney for all their effort!


February 22: Post 273 welcomes our newest Honor Guard member Marine Corps. veteran Pablo Gonzalez. You are invited to join and "Stand With Honor".


February 9: Post 273 was proud to host the American Legion District 16 Oratorical contest. Winner Joseph Corley(l.) and Runner-up Martin Martinez(r.)


February 6: Anthony Torregrossa, our Post 2nd Vice Commander was honored with the  2018 Post 273 "Legionnaire Of The Year" with Commander Jim White & Executive Officer, World War II veteran Monte Palmer.


January 19: Martin Martinez from Lakewood High School, receives his award from Oratorical Chair Beverly Logan & 2nd Vice Commander Anthony Torregrossa.
